I am an Irish artist with a studio practice based in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Ideally located beside Lough Neagh, the lough and the surrounding areas feature heavily in much of my work.

I graduated from Ulster University, Belfast in 2015 with a BA Fine Art Degree and The University of Edinburgh in 2017 with an MFA Degree in Contemporary Art Practice. I've come back to Ulster to complete my PhD and am exploring how a combination of visual and literary activities can impact the communication of chronic pain experience.

 

I am available for commissions upon request. For the most part, people have approached me with a scene or a landscape - to add my own interpretation on them with oil paint. I have also been commissioned to paint houses or memories of people - I prefer to visit the space or the place in these instances to really get a feel of the context. All of my work is painted with a combination of Windsor and Newton and Michael Harding oil paint, and usually mixed with a cocktail of linseed oil (or refined linseed oil) and turpentine.
