Original Landscape Painting - After Everything
£380.00
64.4 x 54.2 x 3.1cm, oil on canvas, framed, 2025.
After Everything lives in that charged moment just after a storm has passed - when the sky is still heavy and moody, but small sparks of colour begin to push their way through. Those fleeting hints of pink, gold, and soft blue feel almost hard-won, like the landscape remembering how to brighten again after being battered by weather.
Along the edge of the Lough, the shoreline holds onto the aftermath: scattered rocks, darkened stones catching the last traces of light, and slender reeds standing tall despite it all. I layered and scraped the surface to echo that rawness - the sense that everything has been shaken up, then slowly resettles into something new. It’s the moment the world feels both familiar and changed.
After Everything is a painting about resilience, quiet strength, and that subtle shift when you realise the worst has passed and colour is beginning to return. It holds the tension between what has been weathered and what is starting to open up again.
Framed in a dark brown frame, the piece takes on a rich, dramatic depth - grounding the mood and drawing the eye inward toward the glow emerging from the sky.
Where it fits at home:
Beautiful in a living room, dining space, or above a console - anywhere you’d like a piece that feels atmospheric, steady, and quietly powerful.
