Through the Haze comes from those days when the mist hangs low and everything feels softer than it really is - when the edges blur, the colours quieten, and the world feels gentler for a moment. This piece was painted during a warm pink haze at sunset, one of those fleeting evenings when the Lough (Neagh) shifts into a softer palette and everything seems to slow down.

The painting is about moving through uncertainty - that in-between place where things aren’t fully clear, but you can still sense a direction, a warmth, a possibility. I wanted it to feel like stepping into a slower rhythm, where you don’t need all the answers to keep going; you just need a moment of quiet light to guide you forward.
